- Customers: name, mobile number and email address when you register, and the favourites, reviews and enquiries you create. You can search and view listings without giving any personal information.
- Vyapaaris: name, mobile number, email address, business name, category, address, map location, phone and WhatsApp number, timings, photos, videos, products, services and offers.
- Advertisers: advertisement details, creatives, and the selected city, category and duration.
- Payments: transaction reference, amount and status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the payment gateway and are not stored by Vyapari Zone.
- Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, and the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and business listing.
- To review and approve listings and advertisements.
- To process payments, issue receipts and provide the Vyapari Smart Card and package benefits.
- To pass your enquiry to the vyapari you contact.
- To send service messages about your account, package, renewal or advertisement.
- To improve the website, prevent misuse and meet legal requirements.
3. Information shown publicly
Business details that a vyapari adds to a listing, including phone and WhatsApp numbers, are published on the website so that customers can contact the business. When a customer writes a review, the review is shown with the name on the account. When a customer sends an enquiry, the enquiry and the contact details entered with it are shared with that vyapari.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the payment gateway to complete payments, with service providers who help us run the website under a duty of confidentiality, and with government or law enforcement authorities when required by law.
5. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
